My Garden

This is my first garden. Its hard work, but will be well worth it when harvest time comes. Everything is organic, with the exception of some of the seeds I got earlier in the year, before I knew about heirloom seeds. I used natural organic compost & fertilizer for the soil made from plant and animal matter, and the only pesticide I use is Neem oil, which is a plant based bug killer/deterrent. GROW YOUR OWN FOOD! FUCK MONSANTO!

yeah, although I lost half of my squash plants due to vine borers, I still had to give away a load of them by harvest time…now I know better and will plant this years squash & cucumbers along the fence ;)

that IS an excellent video…I just found a book series called Square Foot Gardening (and there are some of his videos on you tube as well), and I can’t wait to try it out…

I remember my very first garden–planted a whole packet of zucchini…..and had to beg my neighbors to take some of the harvest. ! Good video!

Hi Deep, looks good. My cucumber plant has got mini cucumbers on it. My green beans and pea plants are almost 2 feet tall. My Thyme, Italian Basil, Purple Basil, mint, dill, and chives will be ready to harvest in 2 or 3 weeks (hydroponics).

Awesome…use whatever space you have to work with…I will also probably set something up indoors after this harvest…I will still probably plant some winter hearty veggies outside, but most of it will be indoors. The best to you on your planting. Let’s reap aplenty ;)

    great work farmer deep:)
people!!! you can even grow corn in pots.. FYI:))
my fav advice do like the indians..
plant corn, squash (will grow beneath and help keep moisture in soil), and beans (will use corn as support) a great space saving way to garden.
and kimi wishes you all love and blessings to your gardens:)))
this vid made me sooo happy :) )

Excellent stuff bro. I’m working on setting up an indoor garden since the region I live in has long, harsh winters.
